Hi Guys,

I’m glad I can say I have recovered from my ankle injury in good time, but where did the month go? Time seems to be flying by! The rehab has paid off, along with lots of rest in between.

I’m back at university and well – into my second year of sports science, so I was able to pick some modules that I enjoyed as well as other core modules that come with doing a pathway. I chose the ones that were based on sociology and psychology as I have a keen interest in them.

My plans for the season haven’t been clarified yet; they still need to be discussed with my coach but of course I trust in whatever he decides whether or not I have an indoor season.

Well I’m going to keep it short and sweet. It’s getting cold already and hardcore winter training has begun, so let get this show on the road!

Catch me next time.

Sprained ankle…

Oh yes!! What a way to end the season just before the semi's of the World Championships. Injuries are really annoying because you can’t train properly but a sprained ankle is the worst!

So for now it’s REHAB, REHAB, REHAB. I have got to say the World Championships were really good. It was a very good experience, being amongst the world's best athletes made me feel really special. They were my first major championships and I hope there are many more to follow for me.

I'm back to Uni at the moment and ill be back to hardcore training really soon as I finished my season mid august. I’m pretty excited about getting back into it. When I think back I am actually very pleased with my performance this year. I have made some great achievements like being selected for the Senior World Championships, attaining a personal best of 55.26 and having the title of European Under 23 Champ. Good job!

Anyway
